THE HEAD CHEF

Chomsy and her family previously opened and operated the popular Thai Choice restaurant on Westheimer near Wilcrest. Born in Laos and raised in Thailand, she and her family have been cooking Thai- and Lao-style food all their lives.  Her staff include both her children and her grandchildren.

ABOUT US

Asia Market Thai Lao Food in Houston. A Thai Food Restaurant and Market, the Asia Market has been operating in our current location since 1987, under two previous owners. It began as a convenience store selling food items from Southeast Asia, and over time began to serve carry-out prepared food. The current owner, Chomsy Saysane, acquired the business in 2015 when previous owners opened the Asia Market Restaurant as a restaurant-only (no store) business on Fulton.

Serving healthy Thai food, we use fresh and authentic ingredients in all dishes, using local produce whenever available. Many of the hard-to-find tems in the store are imported by us from Thailand. Come try our Thai food menu.
